Set Up a D-Link Wireless Router 1.1 Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the DSL modem. 2.2 Then plug the other end into the “WAN” port on the back of the D-Link wireless router. 3.3 Connect wired computers to any of the other Ethernet ports on the router using another Ethernet cable. Access the D-Link Configuration Screen 4.1. Windows 10 not allowing installation of 3G modem Why is it that Windows 10 is not allowing me to install a D Link 3G modem on my PC. When I click on the D Link icon in File Explorer and then click on InstallPackage.exe from the list displayed, it keeps telling me that Administrator has blocked you from running the app.
